Centre Stage Tours is happy to help with other plans and make sure meeting up with the group or going on afterwards is as seamless as possible.

Flight Upgrades: We are still finalizing airlines, but would like to know what kind of travel options you are hoping to secure. Everyone travels differently, so we start the tour at the basic level, and you can make your own choices from there. We do work to book the most direct flights possible. *

Basic Economy - included with the tour
Luggage - I will be travelling with a carry-on bag only - no extra cost.
Luggage - I will need to check a bag for my trip - $75 to $125 per flight depending on the airline.
Choose my seat in advance ($40 - $100 each way depending on airline - most airlines seat travel mates together)
Economy Plus - extra leg-room, maybe a pillow, closer to the front includes one checked bag (extra $ vary from $250 - $400 each way)
Club Class - bigger seats, lots of leg room, blankets, pillows, better meals, includes checked bag and seat choice (around $800 each way)
Business Class - big comfy seats and all the perks (at least $2000 more over all)
First Class - seats that turn to beds and lots of other services (will check on cost if requested)

There are various options on different airlines. We are currently finalizing flights, and will be able to offer exact costs on more extensive upgrades upon request

HOTEL Upgrades: All of our hotels are in the 3.5 to 4 star range. The tour is priced for a BASIC DOUBLE room which includes ensuite bath, double or twin beds (depending on preference) and access to all amenities. Many of the hotels offer a DELUXE or a SUPERIOR ROOM for anywhere from $75 - $100 a night. These rooms come with more space and sometimes a particular view. Occasionally they have larger beds. It should be noted that this tour is fairly active and we don't spend a lot of time in our rooms. *

BREAKFAST: Some hotels offer breakfast included in the price, and some offer it for a fee. Usually it runs between $18 and $25 a person per day. In our experience the breakfast at the hotel is double the price you might pay at a restaurant nearby, but it is very convenient. *

DINING OPTIONS: For dinner most nights we book reservations for the group at interesting but reasonably priced restaurants, but people are free to go off on their own as well. What kind of dining are you interested in *

DAY ONE Sat July 15- Fly

Our flight will leave Vancouver during the day on Saturday. There will be one short layover on our to our first stop: Athens. It will be an over night flight and we will touch down in Athens at about 9:30 AM

GREECE 🌍

The Greece portion of the tour comes with 2 shows at the Athens Epidaurus Festival, a private multi-day bus tour of Southern Greece and a free day for your own choices in Athens.

DAY TWO Sun July 16: Delphi. Our hotel in Delphi is called the Acropole Delphi City Hotel. GREAT NEWS. We have already upgraded your room to include the amazing Gorge View. It will be quite an awaking!

There is so much to see at Delphi including a full stadium at the top of the hill and a world class museum.

DAY THREE Mon July 17: After visiting the ruins at Delphi we are in for a gorgeous mountain side drive along the Gulf of Corinth towards Patras. In Patras we may be faced with a tough choice. The amazing Roman theatre in the centre of town or the Patras Winery atop the hill overlooking the Ionian Sea. Which would you prefer (copy)

The Roman theatre has been listed a temporarily closed for a while now, but is expected to be open for the summer. If it is there may even be an option to see a show there after the winery. We are monitoring the situation.

DAY FOUR Tue July 18: Olympia. Birthplace of the Ancient Olympics. Our hotel in Olympia is called Hotel Neda. It does not offer upgrades, but it does have a swimming pool if you like. Breakfast is included. BONUS: This is the night we see our first show in Epidaurus

DAY SIX, SEVEN & EIGHT Thu - Sat July 20 - 22: Athens. We are staying at the Airotel Parthenon within walking distance of all the core sites in the city centre. During your stay in Athens you will have a Museum Pass which will get you into many sites. Which of these are you most excited to see?

DAY SEVEN July 21 is a Free Day in Athens for you to see things on your own. What are you most interested in doing?

DAY EIGHT Sat July 22

Today is a travel day from Athens to London. We will take a taxi to the airport, and fly directly to London where a private mini-bus will take us to our hotel: The Montague on the Gardens. Upgrades are available at this hotel if you wish.✈️🌍

LONDON July 22 - 29

In London you will have a 5 Day LONDON PASS good for sites and tours, and a 7 Day Travel Card good for all buses, trains and the Underground. We will see four theatre shows together, experience a classic high tea and see all the main sites. All of this is included in your tour cost. THOSE joining us in London will leave on Friday the 21st and arrive on Saturday July 22nd to join up with the group.

LONDON ONLY & LONDON & SCOTLAND TRAVELLERS

Your flight will depart Canada on Friday July 21st and arrive on Saturday July 22nd. You will be given detailed instructions on how to make your way to the hotel to join up with the group.

DAY 8 Sat July 22: Arrival in London will be in the early afternoon. We will check-in, get settled and head off to an open top bus tour unless it is raining. The evening will be clear for you to enjoy a show or relax on your own. *

DAY 9 Sun July 23: We will spend the day in Southwark on the south side of the Thames. Highlights will include touring Shakespeare's Globe, Lunch at the Borough and a walking tour of the Southbank Market and going up the Shard. The show that night will be MacBeth! At the Globe!

There are lots of other options close by on DAY 9 including: The Clink (original London prison), The late 19th Century Operating Theatre at St. Thomas Hospital, The London Bridge Experience (not for the faint of heart) and the old Anchor Pub (a haunt of The Bard himself)

DAY 10 Mon July 24 - Towers of London! On this day we explore the northside of the river with some of the great structures of the city

DAY 11 Tue July 25 The Seat of Power: Kings & Parliament. Today will be something of a walking tour with many famous stops along the way. Which of these amazing sites are you most looking forward to seeing?

HIGH TEA is included as part of the tour. We will enjoy this uniquely British refreshment as our lunch on Day 11 or 12. If you wish you can enjoy it with a glass of bubbly . *

DAY 12 Wed July 26: Getting out to the Country. Which Royal site would you prefer to visit? *

All three of these places are full day events. The group majority will be where the tour goes, but we are happy to provide directions and tips if you have your heart set on the other choice. These days can run long so we keep evening plans optional.

DAY 12 Wed July 26: Optional Evening Plans available on the London Pass. These events are all part of the London Pass or you can choose a night off as well. Which of these might you be interested in?

These events are optional and included in the tour if you wish. The tour guides will be participating in the Sherlock Holmes Escape Room, but will be happy to make sure you get your choice of event this evening.

DAY 13 Thu July 27: A More Eclectic London - A bit off the beaten track

A lovely day at some of the lesser known sites of the city including a panoramic view from the city's highest natural point. The Show will be back in the West End where will explore the fun night life of Covent Garden.

We will be heading to Stratford Upon Avon on Saturday, July 29th to see the sites and a show.

DAY 15 Sat July 29th: Stratford-upon-Avon: The home of William Shakespeare. Which of these iconic Shakespeare sites are you most interested in seeing? *

Stratford-Upon-Avon's village like atmosphere is filled with Tudor Era and Shakespearean time sites. We will see as many as we can. The show is yet to be determined. The Royal Shakespeare Company is on hiatus at this time, but we will be able to see theatre in other local venues.

Our week in Scotland begins with a drive to Glasgow.

DAY 16 Sun July 30 - Travel Day! Off to Glasgow with a stopover in York. Which site in York is highest on the top of your list? *

DAY 17 Mon July 31: Glasgow. We will have part of the day in Glasgow to relax or see a site. If you could only see one site in Glasgow what would it be? *

We will have a morning in Glasgow before we head to the highlands on our private mini-bus.

DAY 17 Mon July 31: Off to the Highlands. Our private bus will pick us up and take us into the wilds of Scottish hills and deep valleys. Which of these sites along the way piques your interest the most?

This journey will be a casual one stopping as we go for a great picture as we amble towards our overnight stop at the village of Mallaig.

DAY 18 Tue Aug 1st: The Isle of Skye. After a 30 minute ferry ride we will land on one of the most storied and beautiful of the Scottish Isles. Which of these sites on the island are you most keen to see?

This journey will take us through some spectacular scenery. Our day will end at our hotel on shores of Loch Ness.

DAY 21 - 23 Fri - Sun Aug 4-6: Two full days for Fringe theatre, the Royal Military Tattoo and all the sites. Which of these 3 choices best describes how you enjoy the world? *

There will be much to do in these final days and we are giving everyone a chance to find the things they want to do for themselves. We will dine together each evening and attend one Fringe show together on Saturday night. Sunday will be fly home day on to more adventure on your own.
