DAY 1 — FRI JULY 23 | Depart for Venice
Overnight flight from Vancouver to Venice.
DAY 2 — SAT JULY 24 | Welcome to Venice
Arrive in Venice, settle into the hotel and begin exploring the city with an evening stroll.
DAY 3 — SUN JULY 25 | The Venice Biennale
Explore the international architectural pavilions and street performances of the Venice Biennale Festival, either with the group or at your own pace, before enjoying an evening performance of music and dance.
DAY 4 — MON JULY 26 | Classic Venice
Discover St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace, with time to wander Venice’s remarkable streets, bridges and canals.
DAY 5 — TUE JULY 27 | The Islands of Venice
Travel across the lagoon to Murano and Burano, two of Venice’s most distinctive islands. Explore Murano’s centuries-old glassmaking tradition, then continue to colourful Burano, known for its canals, brightly painted houses and lace-making heritage. In the evening, take in another performance at a beautiful Venetian venue.
DAY 6 — WED JULY 28 | Through the Alps
Travel by train from Venice to Salzburg on a spectacular 5½-hour journey through the Alps. In the evening, attend a concert at the Salzburg Festival.
DAY by DAY in SALZBURG — JULY 29 - AUGUST 1
DAY 7 — THU JULY 29 | Mozart’s Salzburg
Explore Salzburg with a day of included sightseeing, beginning with a river cruise and a visit to Hohensalzburg Fortress for sweeping views over the city. Continue through Mozart’s Salzburg with stops connected to his life and music. In the evening another wonderful concert.
DAY 8 — FRI JULY 30 | Mountain Tops, Gardens & Festival Life
Ride a cable car to the top of the Alps and visit the magical fountains and grounds of Hellbrunn Palace. The evening is free, with the option of attending another concert.
DAY 9 — SAT JULY 31 | Salzburg Free Day
Enjoy a free day for music, sightseeing or simply exploring Salzburg at your own pace. In the evening, there will be an optional dining experience at St. Peter Stiftskulinarium, Europe’s oldest restaurant, followed by a concert.
DAY 10 — SUN AUG 1 | Off to the Highlands with a possible bonus stopover
Fly toward Inverness with a planned eight-hour stopover in Amsterdam, giving us time to explore some of the city before continuing to Scotland. The Amsterdam visit is subject to the flight schedules available when group air travel is finalized.
DAY by DAY in SCOTLAND — AUGUST 2 - 8
DAY 11 — MON AUG 2 | Culloden History & Nessie
Begin with an optional morning visit to Fort George before spending the afternoon on and around legendary Loch Ness. Cruise the loch and explore the dramatic ruins of Urquhart Castle from both water and land. End the day at your Highland hotel on the shores of Loch Duich, surrounded by mountains and just minutes from Eilean Donan Castle.
DAY 12 — TUE AUG 3 | Highlands — Sky to Sea
Set out from Loch Duich for a full day exploring Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye. Travel through some of Scotland’s most dramatic scenery, with rugged cliffs, crags, sea views and sweeping Highland landscapes at every turn.
DAY 13 — WED AUG 4 | Through the Heart of the Highlands
Leave Loch Duich and travel south through the spectacular landscapes of Glencoe, with plenty of time to take in the mountains, valleys and waterfalls along the way. Continue to the charming Highland town of Pitlochry, where the evening includes a performance at the Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
DAY 14 — THU AUG 5 | Village Charm or Royal Splendour
Enjoy a relaxed morning in the quaint village of Pitlochry, with time to explore the village, shops and surrounding scenery, or choose an optional excursion to Balmoral Castle. Later, travel by train to Edinburgh and settle in for the final festival days of the tour.
DAY 15 — FRI AUG 6 | Edinburgh!
Discover Scotland’s historic capital, with opportunities to experience Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile and the Royal Yacht Britannia. Then plunge into the extraordinary energy of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world’s largest performing arts festival.
SAT AUG 7 | Festival City & The Royal Tattoo
Enjoy free time to explore Edinburgh and choose from the thousands of performances, artists and events filling the city during the Fringe. In the evening, experience the spectacular Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo against the unforgettable backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.
SUN AUG 8 | Fly Home
Say goodbye to Scotland and begin the journey home after fifteen nights of festivals, performances, extraordinary cities and unforgettable Highland scenery.

PAYMENT PLAN
What is the payment plan for the Festivals of Europe Tour?
The total tour cost is $12,600 per person, based on double occupancy. We offer a payment plan to spread the cost over several months.

Your 10% registration deposit is non-refundable and secures your place on the tour.
By March 15, 2027, 60% of the tour cost will have been paid, allowing us to secure major tour expenses well in advance.
If you register after one of the payment dates above, any instalments already due will need to be paid at the time of registration.
PLEASE NOTE: This tour requires a minimum of 6 confirmed travellers in order to proceed.
The Festivals of Europe Tour runs July 23–August 8, 2027 and is limited to a maximum of 24 travellers.

What is included in the tour price
Accommodation, transportation between destinations, selected performances, included sightseeing and admissions, and the services of your Centre Stage Tours host are included. Optional activities, meals, gratuities and personal expenses are extra.
What kind of accommodations will we stay in?
We stay in comfortable, well-located hotels selected for their location, character and suitability for the tour. Accommodation is based on double occupancy, with single rooms available at an additional cost where available.
Will there be free time during the tour?
Yes. The itinerary includes free time in several destinations so you can explore independently, relax, shop or choose optional activities. Some evenings and activities are also intentionally left flexible.
How physically demanding is this tour?
This tour includes regular walking, uneven surfaces, stairs and some longer sightseeing days. Guests should be comfortable walking independently for extended periods and managing their own luggage when required.
What performances are included?
The tour includes selected performances in Venice, Salzburg and Edinburgh. Specific productions and performance times will be confirmed as festival schedules and tickets become available.
Are flights included in the tour price?
Yes. Round-trip international airfare from Vancouver, along with the internal flight between Munich and Scotland, is included in the tour price. Flight schedules and routing may change as airlines release their 2027 schedules.
Are meals included?
Most meals are not included, giving guests the freedom to choose where and what they would like to eat. Any included group meals will be clearly identified in the final itinerary. Some hotels may provide breakfast; this will be confirmed once our accommodations are finalized.
What happens if a performance or festival schedule changes?
Festival schedules are released gradually and may change. If a planned performance becomes unavailable, Centre Stage Tours will arrange the best comparable experience possible and keep guests informed of any significant itinerary changes.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. All guests are required to carry emergency medical travel insurance for the duration of the tour. Trip cancellation and interruption insurance is also strongly recommended. Guests may obtain coverage from the provider of their choice.
Will there be optional activities?
Yes. Several destinations will include optional activities or experiences for guests who would like to do more, while others may prefer to use that time to explore independently or relax.
Can I attend additional performances?
Yes. The itinerary includes some optional performance opportunities, subject to the finalized festival schedules and ticket availability.
Can I have my own room?
Yes. The published price is based on double occupancy, and single-occupancy pricing is available.
How large is the group?
Centre Stage Tours specializes in small-group travel, keeping the experience personal, flexible and easy to manage. Our normal maximum group size is 24 guests.
When is the final itinerary confirmed?
The overall route and tour dates are set, but some performance schedules, hotels, flights and optional activities may not be finalized until closer to departure. We will provide guests with an updated detailed itinerary as each element is confirmed.
