WHAT IS A THEATRE MAKER WEEK?
Five mornings of focused professional training in London, combined with a full week of theatre, backstage experiences, sightseeing and performances. Theatre Maker is designed for people who want to experience the West End not only as an audience member, but as an artist.
Sara Poyzer is a highly experienced West End performer and co-founder of West End Workshop. She is currently appearing as Donna Sheridan in MAMMA MIA! in London’s West End. Through West End Workshop, Sara and her team connect performers with experienced working professionals from across London theatre, bringing current industry insight directly into the training room.
Workshop leaders are selected from West End Workshop’s network of working theatre professionals and will be confirmed closer to the tour.

WHO IS THIS FOR
Theatre Maker is designed for intermediate and experienced community performers, theatre students, educators, directors and other theatre makers who want to develop their craft in a professional London environment. Musical and non-musical performers are both welcome.
WE’VE DONE THIS BEFORE
Our first London training experience brought Canadian performers together with working West End professionals for movement, voice and performance training in London. Theatre Maker 2027 builds on that experience with a fuller five-morning program.
THE REST OF YOUR LONDON WEEK
Your mornings are for training. The rest of the week is shared with our London Theatre Tour — four included performances, theatre tours, London sights and time to explore.
